Sounds like it was a success. Lidl, where he bought it from, is a budget supoermarket in the UK, and not normally known for its outdoor gear. It is known for its bargains though.

This is another example of someone being able to get out onto the water in their own boat, in a way that wouldn’t have been possible with a hardshell boat. Here’s hoping he has many happy trips.
